Our artists use products and techniques to minimize discomfort, and we can provide guidance on how to care for your tattoo after the appointment to minimize any pain or discomfort.

      Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo or piercing at Blake Ink Tattoo & Piercing Studio. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian present and provide written consent.

      The healing time for a tattoo or piercing varies depending on the individual and the location of the tattoo. Generally, tattoos take 2-4 weeks to heal, while piercings can take 4-6 weeks or longer. Our artists will provide you with aftercare instructions to help speed up the healing process.

       Walk ins are accepted when availability allows, however appointments are recommended. 

      Laser tattoo removal uses advanced laser technology to break down tattoo ink particles beneath the skin. The body’s immune system then naturally flushes these particles away over time, gradually fading the tattoo.

      We apply topical anesthetic (numbing cream) to the treated area, most clients describe the sensation as similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin. The treatment is quick, and discomfort is temporary.

      The number of sessions varies depending on the size, colour, depth, and age of the tattoo. Most tattoos require multiple sessions spaced several weeks apart to allow the skin to heal and the body to remove the broken ink particles

      • Clients with active skin infections or open wounds
      • Laser treatment should not be performed on irritated, infected, or damaged skin.
      • Individuals prone to keloid scarring
      • Clients with a history of severe keloid scarring should consult a medical professional before treatment.
      • People currently using certain medications
      • Some medications can make the skin more sensitive to light. Always inform your technician about any medication you are taking.
      • Clients with certain skin conditions
      • Conditions such as active eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis in the treatment area may require postponing treatment.
      • Recently tanned skin
      • Sunburned or freshly tanned skin should heal first before undergoing laser treatment to reduce the risk of complications.


      Who Should Not Get a Carbon Facial:
